As the Founder of Shouq Al Kathiri Advocates and Legal Consultants, Ms. Al Kathiri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia Law, a Master’s degree in Private Law, and a PhD in Business and Law. In addition to her native language, Arabic, she is fluent in English, with a command of Urdu and Hindi. Ms. Al Kathiri has extensive expertise as the Head of Legal Departments in the banking industry, working with several local and international banks. After dominating the legal field for ten years, she established her own law firm in 2011. With 23 years of experience, Ms. Al Kathiri’s legal acumen extends to commercial and criminal cases, labor law, personal status matters, money laundering, documentary credits, loans, project financing, contract drafting, and dispute resolution across the UAE and the Gulf region. She is a highly skilled advocate known for her exceptional defense strategies in criminal courts.

Mr. Al Shehhi is a seasoned advocate with 14 years of experience as a chief prosecutor. He specializes in criminal law and attends court sessions, delivers oral arguments, and provides legal advice.

Mr. Shokry is a legal consultant and arbitrator with more than30 years of experience. Registered in the Arab Lawyers Union and the Egyptian Syndicate, he joined the firm in 2014. He has made a name for himself as a renowned specialist in the fields of civil law, company incorporation, construction law, maritime law, banking law, criminal law, family law, inheritance law, and arbitration. Mr. Shokry specializes in drafting memorandums and petitions in penal cases and handling all criminal matters, including public and private finances. He holds expertise in case preparation and management and legal memorandums. He has a strong ethical stance with regards to the place of the law firm. Specializing in the drafting of all statements of claim, memos and consultation on litigation of all manner, Mr. Shokry has worked his way through the ranks of Shouq Alkathiri Advocates & Legal Consultancy since joining as a legal consultants.

Mr. Majed Lokas has over 27 years of experience, advising clients on civil and commercial cases where he is professional in real estate and banking cases. He is a legal consultant. Registered in the Arab Lawyers Union and the Egyptian Syndicate, he joined the firm in 2018. Mr. Majed Lokas specializes in drafting memorandums and petions in commercial cases, civil cases and handling all real estate matters, banking cases including public and private finances. He holds expertise in case preparation and management and legal memorandum. Specializing in the drafting of all statements of claim, memos and consultation on litigation of all manner, Mr. Majed has worked his way through the ranks of Shouq Alkathiri Advocates & Legal Consultancy since joining as a legal consultant.

Mr. Muhammed Gomaa joined the firm in 2022. He is a Legal Advisor and has been practicing law for over 17 years. He has gained experience in various areas of practice, including construction, personal status cases, property. He is registered in Arab Lawyers Union and in Egyptian Syndicate. He is specialized in preparing and following cases, writing legal memorandums, following judgments execution, organization management, clients’ affairs and cases running.

Mr. Yaqoub holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. He has 28 years of experience as a registered advocate in the Jordanian Lawyers Syndicate. He specializes in case preparation and management, drafting legal memoranda, following judgment enforcement, organization management, client affairs, and case administration. He is very well known as a sharp and intelligent Legal Consultant with numerous years of experience in the fields of civil law, company incorporation, construction law, maritime law, banking law, criminal law, family law, inheritance law, and arbitration.

Mr. Al Derbashi is a legal advisor with experience working for the Dubai Legal Affairs Department and the Egyptian Cassation Court, a legal expert with the World Bank and the European Union, and a legal attorney for several international consulting firms and diplomatic entities. He serves as legal counsel for newspapers and industrial and construction companies. Mr. Al Derbashi is an expert in challenging judgments, having contributed to establishing legal principles adopted by Dubai and Abu Dhabi Cassation Courts. He also excels in contract drafting.

Mr. Fahmi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Shariah and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. He is a registered legal advisor in the Arab Lawyers Union and the Egyptian Syndicate. He has experience in case preparation and management, legal memoranda, judgment enforcement, organization management, client affairs, and case administration.

Mr. Al Sayed has seven years of experience as a legal advisor. He is skilled in preparing, writing, and reviewing legal documents, including memorandums, statements, claims, and contracts, and offers valuable legal advice to clients. Mr. Al Sayed has been registered with the General Bar Association in Cairo since 2006 and has four years of experience in law in the Arab Republic of Egypt from 2006 to 2010.

Mr. Al Bakri is the firm’s public relations organizer, ensuring smooth interactions with government departments, managing transactions, and reviewing local and federal courts and police stations.

Mr. Mohamed is the firm’s administrative organizer for penal affairs. He draws on his 14 years of experience as a Dubai Police investigator to assist with criminal matters, public prosecution, and applications related to the public prosecution and bail system.

Leveraging her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Ms. Idrees serves as the public relations coordinator for foreign clients. She follows client affairs, ensures clear communication, and provides clients with updates on their cases.

Mr. Abdellatif joined Shouq Alkathiri Advocates & Legal Consultancy in 2023, bringing to the firm a wide array of skills, including excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. He has extensive experience working with the Dubai Courts and Federal Courts systems and has worked in the Rental Dispute Resolution Center (RDC) system for over a year. Mr. Abdellatif also holds expertise in preparing financial statements, secretarial work, and accounting tasks, including making account statements and invoices.

Ms. Al-Darmaki is a lawyer at Shouq Al Kathiri Law Firm and Legal Consultations. She joined the firm in 2019 with extensive experience and knowledge of the legal landscape, as reflected in her leadership, communication, and resource management skills. In addition to a law degree from the University of Sharjah and a lawyer’s license from the Institute of Judicial Studies in Sharjah, Ms Amna worked in field training at the Kalba Federal Court of First Instance and holds various certificates, including a course on capitalizing law and regulations in sports institutions, litigation procedures course in UAE football, certified legal consultant course, and an international computer driving license.
